LYSE CLARKE is a certified counsellor with a B.A. in Psychology and a Masters of Education in Counselling from the University of Ottawa. Lyse’s areas of interest are:
• families and couples
• co-dependency and relationship issues
• anger and stress management
• adjustment to life changes
• self-esteem issues
• body image
• one-on-one counselling to employees and managers in conflict, provides guidance in regards to career orientation, personal and professional development.
Having worked with educational institutions, she has extensive knowledge of Canadian college and university programs and credentials.
Lyse is dedicated to providing caring and high standards of service. She regularly attends conferences and professional workshops. She has also completed training as a Third Party Neutral and has received certification from the Canadian Institute for Conflict Resolution.
In the community, Lyse serves on the Board of Directors of the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association, National Capital Chapter. She is a career mentor with immigrant women at the Ottawa Community Immigrant Services Organization, and provides assistance to the Military Family Resource Centre of the National Capital Region in regards to deployment and posting family support and information.
Lyse is fluently bilingual in French and English and is available for evening or week-end appointments.
